STEVE MENDELSOHN, Esq. Mr. Mendelsohn formed the law firm of Mendelsohn and Associates, P.C., in 1999 after working for six years as an associate in the intellectual property department of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, a general-practice firm in Philadelphia, and then for almost two years at Weiser and Associates, a small Philadelphia IP boutique firm. Prior to getting his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991, Mr. Mendelsohn worked for six years as a systems engineer at GE's Aerospace Division in Valley Forge, PA, where he worked on various DoD and NASA satellite programs. Mr. Mendelsohn received a BS in Physics from the University of Michigan in 1980 and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. While Mendelsohn and Associates is a full-service IP firm, Mr. Mendelsohn's personal law practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign electrical, computer, and mechanical patent applications.
