Mr. Cassin focuses on patent prosecution, especially in the area of communications, networking, and software.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cassin was an executive at Pegasus Communications Corporation, a $900 million a year company. There, he was in charge of various development projects, including roll-out of an interactive TV web portal and the design of an Internet entertainment delivery system. As Vice President, he headed up the creation of a new division, Pegasus Rural Broadband and rolled out a 30-community fixed wireless broadband network in Texas, which is doing business today as Xanadoo.com.

Before Pegasus, Mr. Cassin worked as Information Technology Director at two large Philadelphia law firms and ran his own consulting company, which offered networking, software programming, and web-design services.

Mr. Cassin received his B.A. in History from Haverford College and his M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He received his J.D., with Honors, from Rutgers University's School of Law - Camden and is a member of the Texas, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania Bars.
