CRAIG BROWN
Patent Agent

Mr. Brown’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for inventions in the electrical and mechanical arts.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Brown worked as a senior project engineer overseeing projects covering a wide range of technologies. At Merck & Co., Inc, Mr. Brown oversaw building repair, renovation, and construction engineering projects involving mechanical, electrical, architectural, and civil aspects. Mr. Brown was responsible for developing scope, overseeing design, and managing implementation of these projects.

Prior to working at Merck, Mr. Brown worked as a senior project engineer for ILC Dover, Inc., at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. During his time at ILC Dover, Mr. Brown led projects relating to the design, development, and testing of new space suit hardware. His responsibilities included presenting new project funding proposals to NASA management, working with the astronaut core to develop project scope, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and overseeing the design, development, testing, manufacturing, and delivery phases. Some of the hardware developed by Mr. Brown is currently being flown on the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.

Mr. Brown received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and is currently pursuing a J.D. at Temple University, Beasley School of Law.  Mr. Brown is a certified Engineer-in-Training in Pennsylvania and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
