Mr. Brown’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications for inventions in the electrical, computer, and mechanical arts. He also supports litigation efforts, and performs infringement and patentability analyses.

Mr. Brown joined the firm in 2006 and worked as a patent agent while earning his law degree at Temple University, Beasley School of Law. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Brown worked as a senior project engineer overseeing projects covering a wide range of technologies. At Merck & Co., Inc., Mr. Brown worked as a senior project engineer overseeing building repair, renovation, and construction engineering projects involving mechanical, electrical, architectural, and civil aspects. At ILC Dover, Inc., at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, Mr. Brown worked as a project engineer overseeing projects relating to the design, development, and testing of new space suit hardware. Some of the hardware developed by Mr. Brown has been flown on the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.

Mr. Brown received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1998 and his J.D. from Temple University in 2010. He is a certified Engineer-in-Training in Pennsylvania, a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
